I recently had the opportunity to visit Marquis, a new 67 story condo building in Downtown Miami located across from the American Airlines Arena and Museum Park. The Marquis is currently the third tallest building in the State of Florida and offers outstanding views of Biscayne Bay, Miami Beach, and the Downtown area. The area to the east and the west of the Marquis is currently slated for additional development which will only enhance the views and attractiveness of this property.
One of the things that sets the Marquis apart from its downtown counterparts is the fact that there is a small, 56 room boutique hotel, Tempo on the lower floors of the building. Marquis residents have access to the 8,000 square foot spa, fitness center, and restaurants at the hotel. The sky pool deck on the 14th floor is beautifully landscaped and contains an infinity edge pool that runs right to the end of the building. There are also cabanas that surround the pool.
All of the units at Marquis face the bay and have their own private elevators. The building offers a mix of single level apartments, and two level townhouses offering from 1 to 4 bedrooms. The one bedroom, two level townhouses are large 1600+ square foot apartments that feature a wonderful master suite upstairs with a wonderfully designed bathroom. The H line at Marquis is around the same size, but offers 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and is only 1 level.
