I recently had the opportunity to visit Asia, the newest and most luxurious address on Brickell Key. The units and the views from Asia are absolutely stunning and can be only matched by a few buildings in the Miami area, most notably the Apogee and the Santa Maria. The building has a roof shaped like a japanese pagoda and sits on wonderfully landscaped grounds. There are only 125 luxury residences here, each with their own private elevators, and standard 12 foot ceilings to make the interiors seem that much more expansive.
The main lobby at Asia is actually located up one floor from the ground level. There is a social level for meetings and social gatherings on the fifth floor. The majority of the building's amenities are located on the sun level. The sun level features the main curved pool, two whirlpools, and a resistance pool that can be used for swimming laps. There is also a wet spa & wellness center that has full cardio, free weight, yoga, and pilates facilities, and yes, the sun level does get lots of sun. Regulation racquetball and tennis courts are also located on the grounds.
The residences at Asia redefine luxury with an Asian themed twist. All the units are large, with the smallest unit being 1600 square feet. There are at most 5 units per floor, and a variety of two, three, and four bedroom floorplans are available. The kitchens at Asia feature deigned wood cabinets with Subzero refrigerators and Miele ovens. There also is a ceramic cooktop, built-in expresso maker, and wine cooler. The bathrooms have nice touches like a tv built-in to the mirror. My favorite unit was the 03 line which features four bedrooms, five and a half baths and has a wonderful north facing view of Biscayne Bay and Miami Beach. The unit is almost 4000 square feet and is a wonderful place to call home.
